> WHAT DOES TRAVEL INCLUDE?
Up to 2 hours round trip to and from your reception venue. $50 per half hour beyond. Overnight lodging with suitable amenities is required for destinations greater than 2 hours one way (actual costs or $200, whichever is greater). I consider out-of-state events on a case by case basis., but do not serve major cities, rural areas, or regions without cellular service.
> ARE THERE ANY OTHER FEES?
Only in situations that substantially increase my costs, such as if additional staff, special equipment, transportation or early setup is needed. In such instances, I issue a detailed estimate well in advance before you make any commitment. I also comply fully with New York State, applying 8% sales tax to all of my services.
> HOW LONG IS 'ALL DAY' ?
I oversee events from 11 a.m. till 11 p.m. Depending on your ceremony and reception venue, I must sometimes limit my services based on local ordinances. If such do not apply, you may request, in advance, special arrangements to extend my services.
> WHAT ABOUT OUTDOOR RECEPTIONS?
I have suitable equipment for patios, tents, and parties in an open field, and I'll gladly accommodate, when thoroughly shaded and suitably protected from the elements.
> WHAT IF I HAVE MORE THAN 250 GUESTS?
I'm capable of playing to exceptionally large crowds, but require additional staff, equipment and transportation. I do not charge more than my actual costs to facilitate such needs.
> DO YOU OFFER ANY DISCOUNTS?
I'm all for saving my clients money whenever possible. I offer a 5% discount (up to $200) when you pay in full the same day as your deposit. I also discount my services by 10% (up to $400) during off-peak (non-weekend) or off-season (non-holiday weekends between November 15th and April 1st). Additionally, I offer incentives toward specific services when hired with select vendors or at venues with whom I enjoy a good working relationship.
